There are multiple additional fashion lines under the Black-owned clothing store, such as Juneteenth 1865, which celebrates the new federal holiday. BlaCk OWned always has new and exciting style arrivals to check out with the changing seasons.

About the Owners

Opening the African American clothing shop on Elm Street was not an accident. Ervin and Means wanted to place BlaCk OWned Outerwear in a stretch of town not mainly known for Black retail. BlaCk OWned Outerwear’s mission is to promote Black ownership while challenging societal inequities through fashion and storytelling.

The Outerwear brand’s Instagram and Facebook are not only beautiful and well-organized but are also informative and inspiring. The Cincinnati fashion brand posts different events, from parties to performances to pop-ups.
