Brass & Wool is a Black-owned online bookstore in Cincinnati. The bookshop offers a variety of books by Black authors to enrich the Black community. Brass & Wool also houses book clubs and other events.

Products and Services

Brass & Wool celebrates Black Authors and encourages those of African descent to read while becoming more engaged as a community. Through education, the goal is to empower each customer in a world where they may feel undervalued and minimalized.

The bookshop utilizes media and events to inspire everyone to be involved in improving the literacy rates of Cincinnati youth. Additionally, Brass & Wool uplifts their customers’ spirits and sparks their imagination through a good book, handsome artwork, or interaction at an event.

Brass & Wool will also promote Black visual artists by providing a local collective of their prints and works. As a result, the customer can find a more diverse selection accessible.
