Plant Therapy by Brandie, LLC, owned by Brandie Fletcher, is a Black-owned house plant enthusiast and small business pop-up retailer. The business’ mission is to share plants, encouragement through education, and local products from fellow local entrepreneurs to friends, family, and beyond. Handie Brandie invites local vendors and customers into a community that celebrates a love for nature, beauty, education, and people online, at local pop-ups and on Instagram.

Handie Brandie’s Plants and More is dedicated to growing various plants and providing personal attention. All plants sold are homegrown or locally acquired. Throughout the month, Brandie offers plant installation design and maintenance of plants in local homes and businesses. There are how-to videos to support clients’ plant survival online and on social.

Brandie believes plants remind us of our humanity and the need for self-care. Being able to take time out each day to support the survival of your house plant forces you out of the busyness of daily life. It presents us with the need for water, sun, and fertilization for our plants and ourselves.

Handie Brandie puts on a monthly pop-up sale for its followers on Facebook and showcases house plants and instructions for care. Offering local deliveries for plants and products and shipment options for non-plant products.

In addition, each month, local artisans and businesses are featured to showcase their products. Some of these businesses include Natural Onyx Dimensions LLC, Simply Charming Darlin, Gavra Cadavra Creative House of Art and Design, Ali’s Sassy Stitches, and Prismatic Designs. Handie Brandie considers their suppliers and business associates valued partners working collaboratively to maintain mutually beneficial relationships.
