IMEC Fitness and Training Complex is a Black-owned, full-scale training facility in Lockland, Ohio. IMEC helps youth and young athletes prepare for Division 1 sports and adults achieve their personal fitness goals.

Under the direction of IMEC Fitness and Training Complex president Coach George Brown, thousands of student-athletes advanced to college and professional sports. Most adults lose, on average, 10 to 15 pounds per month.

Located in Lockland, Ohio, IMEC Fitness and Training Complex is a 12,000-square-foot state-of-the-art workout facility with 25 yards of field turf, a 40-yard indoor track, cardio and strength training equipment, a sauna and a massage room.

Unlike most gyms and fitness centers, IMEC Fitness and Training Complex specializes in functional training that uses body weight to create tension and resistance to build joints and muscles naturally. Workouts for adults, youth and young athletes include running, cycling, boxing, lifting, jumping, stretching, weight training, resistance training and strength building.

IMEC Fitness and Training Complex Adult Programs

In addition to helping adults sustain an optimal weight, IMEC Fitness and Training Complex assists clients with chronic illnesses such as asthma, lupus, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and hypertension to improve their body composition and live a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly, eating wisely and minimizing dependence on medication.

Adult exercise programs include a fitness assessment as well as one-on-one and small-group interval sessions. Experienced fitness professionals motivate persons looking to lose weight and increase their physical activity in a way that other exercise programs do not.

IMEC Fitness and Training Complex customize workout schedules, personal training, meal plans and coaching sessions for each adult client to obtain better health. Certified personal trainers lead adult workout routines that include warm-ups, lifting weights, aerobic exercises, interval training and high-intensity total-body movements. Most adults who adhere to their recommended fitness program improve their cardiovascular and metabolic health and reduce body fat.

IMEC Fitness and Training Complex Youth and Young Athlete Programs

IMEC Fitness and Training Complex develops youth and young athletes ages five years and older to be physically fit and mentally stronger. Youth and athletic training, available individually and in two-hour group sessions, builds strength, agility, endurance, explosion, posture and speed. Proper training, conditioning and mentoring make young athletes bigger, faster and more prepared for the next level of sport.

For over 20 years, thousands of young athletes who trained at IMEC Fitness and Training Complex received athletic scholarships to play Division 1 college sports. More than 20 athletes reached the professional ranks of football, basketball, baseball, soccer, boxing, softball, lacrosse and track.
