KeKe’s Publishing, a certified MBE/WBE business, began in 2020 during COVID-19. Not a typical publishing company, this business publishes with a twist. The motto, “Innovative Publishing for a New Generation,” reflects a commitment to enriching the lives of children through services and literature. Multicultural literature features engaging text, providing a refreshing reading experience for both younger and older children and offering reflections on personal experiences. The uniqueness of KeKe’s Publishing lies in the creation of diverse children’s books that end with a cliffhanger, leaving readers eager for more.

About the Owner

The owner and founder, Kelly Bullock, is an educator, entrepreneur, and aspiring new author. During Kelly’s teaching career, her long-awaiting passion to become an author was ignited. Teaching “Language Arts” lit an awe-inspiring classroom movement to write and engage students with books representing all levels of society and inspiring them to exceed their potential.

Kelly is passionate about educating children and believes that it is essential that they are exposed to literature that presents many cultures to them in a positive and encouraging way. Diversity in books will help children appreciate and better understand themselves and others around them.

Kelly’s first book is Mama Means Business. It is creative, funny, and enjoyable! This family-oriented book will keep you engaged as this middle-class Black family teaches their children how to embrace life through the consequences of their actions. It is relatable and has an important message that all kids can learn from. Honesty, trust, and forgiveness play a crucial part in the family bond that takes place within the story.
