About the Owner

Robert Sanders founded Sanders Development Group in 2019. SDG provides expertise in all aspects of real estate and development. Their mission is to ‘build with stronger clay.’ This manifests the business owner’s belief that thorough strategic collaboration, projects, and expectations can far exceed anything that is attempted individually.

Robert is a Cincinnati native from Over-the-Rhine with a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State University. His experience also extends from a variety of finance and commercial development roles. His career spans roles of increasing responsibility at Corporex Companies, managing development and construction projects, and business lending at U.S. Bank. Working as director of commercial development at the Port, Robert created innovative financing programs for small businesses and commercial real estate development in Cincinnati communities. As a result of his experience, Robert started SDG as a consultant to many community development corporations throughout Cincinnati.

Serving on the board of NAIOP, Robert continued to help found the board of Urban Land Institute’s Real Estate Accelerator Lab. This program boosts minority participation in real estate development, equity investment, and ownership. Additionally, Robert has served on the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Development Fund.

Sanders Development’s Latest Project

Among the many successful development projects Sanders completed, the company’s latest is TriVersity Construction Co. This project is expected to bring dozens of jobs to Walnut Hills and be a total investment of about $4 million. Three parcels located on Curtis Street and St. James Avenue at the historic Peebles Corner will establish the new headquarters of TriVersity.
