The Headache Center of Hope is a Black-owned concierge medical facility located in the Kenwood area, specializing in all types of headaches including migraines. The office has been designed to offer a quiet, calm and luxurious atmosphere catering to those who suffer from headaches.

Dr. Hope O’Brien is an African American, Board Certified Neurologist and Headache Specialist, whose primary focus is to get patients back to living the life they love by designing a personalized, comprehensive wellness plan to help patients get healed and returned to a life of headache-free living.

Migraine is not “just a headache” and for many patients, it can be disabling. Despite being a common condition, many times the options for care involve long wait times, loud and chaotic spaces, or contain bright lights that are not conducive to someone with severe head pain. To create an environment that caters to those who suffer from migraines, Dr. O’Brien developed the Headache Center of Hope.

Appointments are available either the same day or within three days. The goal of the Headache Center of Hope staff is to establish unique relationships with patients through taking the time to hear your challenges and provide a personalized plan that combines traditional, holistic, and Naturopathic modalities. Your individualized treatment plan is designed with a combination of evidence-based best practices and holistic options proven safe and effective in providing relief.

Treatment may include over-the-counter remedies, innovative migraine treatments or the use of biomedical technology to alleviate head pain resulting in minimal to no side effects. Injections and infusions are available to include trigger points or nerve blocks with the use of local anesthesia to alleviate pain. Onabotulinumtoxina medication procedures (e.g., Botox) involve multiple injections of the face, head, and neck. Also, intravenous hydrating electrolyte and vitamin-rich fluids and specialized intravenous medication appointments can be scheduled usually within 24 to 48 hours.
