Xceptional Training Center

Xceptional Training Center is a new allied health training center located in Lockland, Ohio. This center is 100% Black-owned and 100% women-owned. The owners, who are also the instructors, collectively have over 40 years of nursing/healthcare experience. Having been STNAs themselves, the instructors have a passion for providing proper professional care to those in facilities.

Currently, Xceptional Training Center is training individuals to become State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) as well as CPR/BLS certified. The STNA program is 2-3 weeks long depending on whether in-person learning, or hybrid learning is preferred. Full-time in-person learning classes are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. for the first eight days and 6:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for the last two days in the facility-based clinical experience.

Xceptional Training Center’s hybrid option is 3 weeks long. Book learning/video meetings are all online. Skills learning, any tests, and the clinical experience are completed in person. Students will be required to come into the center for four days total for skills learning and two days in a nursing facility for clinical.

The CPR program is certified through the American Heart Association as well as the American Red Cross. Individuals will be trained and equipped with the basic skills to perform CPR, care for choking victims as well as provide basic first aid in the event an incident occurs.

The mission of the training center is to change the lives of the members of the community as well as healthcare. By properly training individuals, they will leave with the confidence and compassion needed to care for others. Xceptional Training Center wishes to give back to the community, change minds, and give opportunities.

As more programs and trainings are added to the catalog, the goals set can be reached and more people can be helped. The members of the training center’s team are excited for the opportunity to train Cincinnati’s newest healthcare members. Its the Xceptional Way.
