Job Description

Triversity Construction is looking for a Safety Engineer, are you ready to make the move?

The Safety Engineer implements our safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment on assigned projects.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist project teams in establishing job-specific safety programs.
  • Coach workforce on proper safety procedures and processes.
  • Provide safety solutions to technical safety challenges in the field.
  • Perform job site audits and incident investigations.
  • Conduct training sessions.
  • Network with local safety groups and associations.

 

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30-hour construction certification is required.
  • A degree in safety management, occupational health and safety, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a dedicated safety role or 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical experience in employee safety training.
  • Technical working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite and other industry-related programs.
