About Morgan A. Owens

The Morgan A. Owens brand is a black-owned brand development company, established as a voice for women who had a desire to become more marketable in their corporate careers as well as entrepreneurial goals. With the mission that women can be “powerful and pretty”, Morgan Owens introduced a plethora of chic and trendy events that embodied this concept.

Beginning with the November 2016 premier of Babes in Bizness, Morgan Owens targeted a panel of African American women who created a blazing path in their respective fields to educate, empower and elevate young, minority business owners and corporate women. The Morgan A. Owens Brand has introduced a series of workshops entitled “Professional Pretty” fostering topics that include health and wellness, financial guidance, overcoming community/racial obstacles, brand building and more. Additionally, tools and resources are offered that reshapes small businesses through marketing, graphic assistance, and branding.

Morgan holds a Bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing with a Minor in Criminology from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). She plans to continue pursuing her MBA in Marketing and Social Media.

In 2012, Morgan became a certified Zumba instructor. While she thought Zumba was fun, she felt there was a need in the Black community for a fitness class that had the right music, the right focus and someone who could relate. In 2014, with the advice of North Avondale Recreation Director, Blake Williams, Morgan decided to launch her own fitness class. Thus, Curvy Cardio was born.  Having struggled with weight issues all her life, Morgan is passionate about motivating others and sharing her story.
