A.R.T. Art Resource Team, established in 2000 by artist, Inez Baird, is a black woman-owned business specializing in sourcing artwork for residences and businesses nationwide. The consulting studio is located at 506 Wyoming Avenue within a bright retail gallery in Wyoming, Ohio and offers original art, unique glass, and handmade jewelry.
Baird’s painting studio is also located within this space where many of her abstract, modern paintings on canvas are hanging and available for purchase along with other black artists. Baird’s choice of style is abstract as it allows a modern interpretation of complex conundrums. She has participated in many prestigious juried art fairs across the country and is considered an emerging artist to watch. A.R.T. is known for sourcing contemporary pieces of art-both originals and prints at all price points.
For her art advisory service, comprehensive art plans are supplied to complement each project’s design and color scheme. Direct affiliations with local and regional artists as well as national publishing companies allow Baird to meet any design needs with exclusive artist commissions. Additionally, her custom framing service provides a unique selection of moldings specifically chosen for each project.
A.R.T. Art Resource Team hosts events such as ladies’ nights, art openings with local artists, and holiday-themed parties. The gallery is always changing with new art and gift offerings. Baird loves to help customers find the perfect piece of art for their unique tastes and needs from her many contacts in the art world.
Baird has recently invited another creative force, Trista Manigault, to share some of her studio space in order to “co-create.” Trista Manigault is the owner of Paradigm Studios, a black woman-owned interior design company.
The A.R.T. Art Resource Team store is open and welcomes shoppers with special adjustments to accommodate social distancing guidelines. Normal gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Private appointments are also available by request.
