Best Thing Smokin’ is a full-service Black family-owned food truck and caterer owned by the Garr family. The Garr family has been serving the Greater Cincinnati Area quality, flavorful, family recipes with their catering service for over 20 years and with the food truck for the past five years.
With a very wide range of award-winning menu items from BBQ, seafood, soul food, homemade sides and desserts, Best Thing Smokin’ is flexible enough to handle any request and experienced enough to handle any size event. The company promises to focus on the small details to put any occasion over the top, with special attention to customer service and dedication to what they do. The Garr family leaves no stone unturned when it comes to doing business.
This is truly a family business with every member doing their part to ensure every fan or customer is always happy. The daughters, Alicia and Adriene, handle sales and customer service. Father, Alvey Sr., and sons, Duante, Davin, and Alvey Jr. handle the meal prep. Mother, Deborah ensures every recipe is exactly right. The family’s mission is to bring their beloved hometown of Cincinnati the best food there is to offer.
