LindarInsights Publishing LLC is a Black-owned self-publishing company owned by African American self-publisher Arlinda McKinley. The mission of LindarInsights is to assist aspiring and established authors effectively and efficiently in self-publishing their books, both physically and electronically, in an economical and excellent manner. Oftentimes, aspiring authors believe that they cannot create their book, or books, because of monetary needs, the goal is to assist them while navigating through that process.
Services offered for clients include:
- Consultations for clients who are in the beginning stages of authoring a book
- Book brainstorming sessions
- Knowledge regarding printing their book
- Information about promoting their book on social media
- How to create social media graphics on a budget to promote their brand and their product
- Creating book covers in both jpeg and pdf formats
- Designing souvenir booklets or bulletins for special occasions
- Designing small journals
These services are not limited to adults, but they are also offered to children and teens, (ages 10-17). Gifts are valued and there is the belief that if children are taught early to operate in their gifts it benefits the community. It also allows children to learn to operate in their gifts at an early age.

- Journaling sessions
- How to create a blog
- How to self-publish books.
LindarInsights was established in 2017 after attending various self-publishing workshops and connecting with various authors and book fair organizers across the country. The owner has self-published five books – Ghetto Chick, Infused, #hespoilsme, Diligently and My Daily Gratitude Journal. She also hosted a self-publishing workshop for aspiring writers. Various programming will continue to be offered for aspiring writers both in a physical and virtual setting.
The Black-owned self-publishing company would like to open the door for future authors, both young and old, in the Greater Cincinnati Area by empowering them to examine their creative and technological talents to transform their words into life.
