Corporate Got Em is a Black-owned sneaker and clothing boutique that has been servicing the tri-state for nearly 12 years located in Hyde Park Square near Rookwood, Evanston, and Oakley. The building itself is attached to Everyday Chic Boutique, and Cork and Cap.
Corporate Got Em’s list of collaborators is full of household names including Jordan Brand, New Era, Mitchell & Ness, Spaulding, Starter, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Vans and many more. Their own Corporate private label has taken their offerings to the next level and has raised the bar even more.
Corporate Got Em’s brick and mortar store is sleek and sophisticated with a very visually appealing setup. They also have an incredibly put together online store that offers shopping as well as news. They run frequent sales on unique pieces that you can’t find anywhere else.
Acting as more than just a store, Corporate also serves as a beacon to the community through various avenues. Whether they’re highlighting local brands and artists to expand their reach, or helping teens find their path with their non-profit Bigger Than Sneakers, community enrichment is where they differentiate themselves. Bigger Than Sneakers provides a platform to showcase the larger ecosystem surrounding sneaker culture. Through workshops & events, a mentorship program, and youth-focused community initiatives, BTS seeks to empower and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
Their slogan is “Corporate Got’em” and when it comes to exclusive hard to come by sneakers that is exactly the case. Corporate is my go-to place to purchase sneakers and forward-thinking fashion. The entire Corporate Team is very knowledgeable on sneakers and are always very helpful. The recent remodel brought Corporate to the next level putting it on par with sneaker shops in larger markets. You will often find friends of the shop hanging around talking about sneakers and life in general. And eventually you may stop being a customer and become a friend and then you may become family. Because at Corporate it is Bigger Than Sneakers!
