Dee–Licious Pound Cakes, LLC is a Black-owned online bakery based in Greater Cincinnati. Owned by Stephanie Rousseau, this bakery boutique specializes in homemade from-scratch pound cakes. The woman-owned cakery ensures each cake is custom made with premium ingredients, providing elegant artistry, great texture, aroma and Dee-Licious flavor.
The African American bakery offers these fluffy pound cakes in three Dee-Licious flavors: sour cream, chocolate and cream cheese. Additionally, each tasty pound cake comes in six intricate designs:
- Three-tiered heart shape
- Crystal cut shape
- Single-heart shape
- Rose shape
- House shape
- Four mini-Bundt cakes
When placing an order on the website, you have the option to ship the cake nationwide straight to your home or office. Alternatively, you may pick it up by appointment at Dee-Licious Pound Cakes’ Mason location.
About the Owner
Dee–Licious Pound Cakes owner and licensed baker, Stephanie Rousseau has over 40 years of baking experience. She began baking many years ago assisting her grandmother, Mrs. Scottie Dee Carter Green, with baking and cooking holiday dinners. Rousseau genuinely enjoyed the time spent in the kitchen talking with her grandmother about everything while they cooked and baked.
Many friends, relatives and church members requested Rousseau’s cakes. She continued to be encouraged to sell her cakes for many years as well. In December 2019, Rousseau’s prayers were answered to move forward with the online bakery. She posted on Facebook, “With guidance from God, I am stepping out on faith with the opening of Dee–Licious Pound Cakes.” Rousseau lovingly named her pound cake business in honor and memory of her grandmother.
