The Empowerment Resource Network

The Empowerment Resource Network, LLC (DBA EZ Publishers), is a Black-owned publishing company that provides opportunities for new and upcoming authors to bring their dreams into reality by publishing their written work. EZ Publishers was founded by Dubonna Dawkins in 2005.

At EZ Publishers, the belief is that everyone has a right to pursue their dream to become a published author. The team of dedicated professionals at Empowerment Zone Publishing, works side-by-side with new writers and authors to ensure their dreams come to fruition.

So many times, new writers are turned away by larger publishing houses because they do not have a name established for themselves or do not have previously published work. EZ Publishers understand the competitive nature of publishing and have designed a plan to allow new writers an easy and affordable way to get their works in print.

Empowerment Zone Publishing offers a variety of publishing services for new writers, as well as published authors looking to gain more control of their work, including book design, editorial content, retail pricing, and promotional and networking opportunities.

EZ Publishers offers affordable packages and puts the power back into the hands of the author. All of their services are led by the author, but the dedicated team at Empowerment Zone is here to assist new writers along the way. They offer feedback to allow for a smooth and seamless journey toward becoming a published author.

Services are offered a la carte, as preset packages, and as specialized packages to meet the author’s needs.

The initial 15-minute consultation is free and prices vary depending on the service or package selected. Initial consultations are available by phone, zoom, or google meets. The goal of Empowerment Zone Publishing is to offer an affordable solution to meet all of your publishing needs.
