Handie Brandie & Plants and More, LLC, owned by Brandie Fletcher is a Black-owned house plant enthusiast and small business retailer. The business’ mission is to share plants, encouragement through education, and local products from fellow local entrepreneurs to friends, family, and beyond. Handie Brandie invites local vendors and customers into a community that celebrates a love for nature, beauty, education and people online, at local pop-ups and Instagram.
Handie Brandieâs Plants and More is dedicated to growing an assortment of plants and providing personal attention. All plants sold are homegrown or locally acquired. Throughout the month, Brandie offers plant install design and maintenance of plants in local homes and businesses. She also posts âhow toâ posts to support clients plant survival.
Brandie believes that plants remind us of our humanity and the need for self-care. Being able to take time out each day to support the survival of your house plant forces you out of the busyness of daily life. It presents to us the need for water, sun and fertilization not only for our plants, but also ourselves.
Handie Brandie puts on a monthly Pop up Sale for its followers on Facebook. She showcases house plants and instructions for care. She offers local deliveries for plants and products and shipment options for non-plant products. Follow her on Facebook.
In addition, each month she features local artisans and businesses to showcase their products. Some of these businesses include Natural Onyx Dimensions LLC, Simply Charming Darlin, Gavra Cadavra Creative House of Art and Design, Aliâs Sassy Stitches and Prismatic Designs. Handie Brandie considers their suppliers and business associates to be valued partners working collaboratively to maintain mutually beneficial relationships.
Check out Handie Brandie Plants and More! The result? You will have formed relationships with the people that grew, created and produced your goods- and that feels good.
