Makers Bakers Co. is a Black-owned bakery operating out of Over-the-Rhine. The African American eatery specializes in artisan crackers, cheesecakes, custom cakes, cookies and street food. Makers Bakers take pride in creating handmade products with fine flavor and craftsmanship, using quality goods and locally produced ingredients.

Some of the most popular items at Makers Bakers are banana pudding jars, a deliciously different take on the dessert. Makers Bakers also feature a big gooey cinnamon roll. Custom cakes, cake pops and various candies can be made on request.

Occasionally, one can find Makers Bakers Co. at Findlay Market, Northside Farmers Market on Wednesday evenings, and various events. The Black-owned bakery offers hand-dipped corn dogs with locally sourced meats, fresh all-beef hot dogs, sausages, and chicken sausage. The Cincinnati bakery boasts the best-fried pickles and deep-fried freshly baked cheesecake.
