A space where everyone feels comfortable getting their sweat on
Cincinnati OH 45202
Society Cycle House is a Black woman-owned cycle house that offers a space where everyone feels comfortable getting their sweat on. At Downtown Cincinnati’s first Cycle House, all are welcome––whether you’re a pro, or this is your first time. So, gear up, feel the music, and let go!
Hydration is key at Society Cycle House. On the bike, you will work up some heat, so it’s important to hydrate for each class. Water is available at the studio—bring a bottle to fill up or grab one at the front desk for $2.
At Society Cycle House, you should wear your favorite workout clothes: leggings, shorts, tanks or tee. Cycle shoes are not mandatory, but all your preference. Each bike is equipped with sneakers or Shimano® SPD®-compatible mountain biking (MTB) shoes to clip in with cleats.
At Society Cycle House, each session is a dance party. So come with the energy to have the best spin jam session. The session has curated music by the instructor or a local DJ. Each session starts with a warm-up, hills and sprints (maybe some arms) + some cardio push and ending with a smooth restoring cool down.
Start your Society Cycle House journey by buying a session or a membership that will give you credits (and perks) to book a bike. Bike booking opens at noon every Monday. Sessions sell out fast! Book early for sessions on the schedule from Tuesday through Monday of the following week. Sessions can be canceled online or by calling the studio. If a class is full, you can choose to sign-up to be on the waitlist. As a spot opens, you will receive an email and phone call confirmation.
Get to the Society Cycle House studio 15 mins before your class to prep your bike or receive a tour if it’s your first time – let the House Greeter know. You can check in on your phone online or via the House kiosk. You can also order juices and water from the kiosk. There are lockers (even phone chargers) to store your stuff during the session.
Society Cycle House is located downtown, but there is metered parking and parking lots (that they validate) that are a few steps away from our front door. The validated options are Washington Park Garage and 12th & Vine Lot. The Black-owned cycle house is located upstairs from Low Spark Bar. The front door entrance is off Republic Street.
