Sunny Blu Coffeehouse is the first Black-owned coffeehouse located in the Camp Washington community. They are located off 75 and the Hopple exit (just minutes from OTR, downtown, and Clifton). Inspired by his late grandfather, Walter “Sonny” Chancellor, Eric Robinson launched the company to honor him for his work in the Cincinnati community.
Sunny Blu provides its customers and community with specialty espresso from ethically sourced farms. They have an array of drinks to include coffee, smoothies, teas, and sodas. Sunny Blu offers bagels, sandwiches, muffins and pastries. They provide onsite catering that includes set up and breakdown for events.
The Sunny Blu team can host any catering event to ensure guests stay refreshed. They provide catering options which include airpots vs traditional boxed coffee. They have partnered with several Cincinnati based businesses to create a stronger community. They believe in supporting local companies. The company opened its doors in April of 2019.
Sunny Blu provides coffee daily as a way of life for its consumers. They sell freshly brewed coffee using various techniques; cold-drip, French press, and pour-over. They make their own cold brew in-house, which creates a better concentrate. They offer a quaint and nostalgic atmosphere with subtle background music.
Sunny Blu Coffeehouse provides a great place to hold a business meeting, meet up with friends, do some work, read a book, entertain, or simply to just pass some time. They are here to be a community connector.
Sunny Blu educates its employees and community. Coffee and espresso done right are a combination of art and chemistry. Continual creativity is a cornerstone of their core values.
