Cincinnati Back-to-School Giveaways will help your kids be prepared for the first day.


Cincinnati back-to-school giveaways all over the Greater Cincinnati Area can provide free school supplies to your family. The first day of the school calendar is less than a month away for most kids. While students are still scrambling to finish their summer reading, parents are looking for inexpensive school supplies that will last throughout the school year.

School shopping can be stressful and expensive. To keep your bank account balanced and stay within your budget, here is a list of organizations that have Cincinnati back-to-school giveaways. Grab your child’s school supply list and use these organizations for free backpacks, erasers, crayons, highlighters, glue sticks, scissors, pencils, notebooks, binders, index cards, and more!

Harrison Pavilion Back to School Bash

1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
There will be snacks and light refreshments as well as backpacks filled with school supplies!


School Supply Giveaway at MEAC
Madisonville Education and Assistance Center
4600 Erie Avenue, Cincinnati 45227 (Madisonville)
August 10th
Noon – 4 p.m.
Drive through or walk up to MEAC to pick up supplies for your school-aged scholars. Parent/Legal guardian must be present and in VESTA with children listed in the household to receive supplies.

Operation Backpack Justice League for All

Bengals, Who-Dey, Peppermint Patty, DJ Ouiwey, vendors, free admission to the Science and History Museum, and free Covid-19 vaccines.


Northside Back-to-School Community Event
Chase Elementary School

August 14th
2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The event will include free food, music, games, giveaways, a bounce house, school supplies, haircuts, and hair braiding on a first-come, first-served basis.


Educate the Block, LLC

August 14th
2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Free food, fun games, face painting, bounce houses, and more. First come, first served; kids must be in attendance to receive school supplies.

Freedom Fest- Back to School Bash

5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
An evening of fun, food, pre-filled backpacks, and more for families in the local area!


Back 2 School Bookbag Giveaway and Pop-Up Shop

August 21st
3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Free uniforms, free bookbags with supplies, bundle giveaway for girls, shoes for boys, free haircuts and styles, free food, drinks, and bounce house.




Star Rated Preschools in Cincinnati accepting new students!




Although these places are more than happy to give all they can to those in need, they can also use an occasional helping hand. Most of the places listed above are open to receiving donations so they can give to a larger audience. If you have a few empty notebooks, coloring supplies, backpacks, pens and pencils lying around, feel free to go to call and donate.
