As the weather chills, the Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcars may be the best way to get to all the fantastic downtown events, from The Banks to OTR to Findlay Market.

The Cincinnati Bell Connector has a mobile payment app called Transit App with EZFare. It is available on most smart devices. The app is free, easy to download, and has no service fees. You must download the Cincy EZRide App, create an account, and add your credit card!

 

How to use the EZFare App

1. Download the app and create an account.
2. Choose your transit system.
3. Select your fare.
4. Purchase your ticket (you must add your credit card information).
5. Use your ticket! It will be on your ticket wallet.

Ticket vending machines accept credit cards, cash, and Metro stored value cards. Here are popular destinations along the Cincinnati Bell Connector route:

  • Fountain Square
  • Contemporary Arts Center
  • Public Library
  • Aronoff Center
  • Cincinnati  Casino
  • Gateway Quarter
  • Music Hall
  • Washington Park

When you are ready to ride, select your fare and show your activated ticket to your Metro bus operator or Cincinnati Bell Connector fare inspector. The app also allows your stop’s real-time arrival and departure times for your visit.

 

While riding the Cincinnati Bell Connector, there are plenty of things to do downtown. Free concerts are happening at Washington Park, and before the shows, you can enjoy plenty of black-owned businesses to eat or shop at! There is no reason your summer should not be spent in downtown Cincinnati.
