Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc & Alpha Phi Alpha team up to present the 2020 Youth Symposium.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. (ELS) and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (DGL) invite all youth (school ages 10-18) to the 2020 Youth Symposium. This year’s theme, “Elevating Our Youth: Civically, Socially, and Physically” will feature giveaways, hands-on activities, civic engagement, and more. Speakers will empower youth and their families to delve deeper into exploring education options. Also, youth will learn how to develop a combination of knowledge, skills, values, and motivation to make a difference.

Admission is FREE, however, tickets are required for entry. Only 200 tickets are available online, so be sure to reserve online while supplies last. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Breakfast and lunch included. All sorority/fraternity youth groups, church youth, and students are welcome.
RSVP Tickets

The youth will engage in the following educational topics:
– Civic Education
– Anti-Bullying and Social Media
– Health & Wellness
– Swimming Lessons (Dry and Wet Clinics)

Registration is only open to the first 200 students, so RSVP today. All sorority/fraternity youth groups, church youth, and students are welcome.

About 2020 Youth Symposium
The goal of the 2020 Youth Symposium is to provide critical information that will encourage attendees to participate in areas that impact and influence their daily lives. Also, it will provide youth attendees an opportunity to give back to their communities through service. Additionally, to respond to the troubling uptick around child pornography and trafficking and suicide occurrences in younger aged children, it will build in time for discussion modules with parents, guardians, and youth participants.

About Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
On November 1, 1980 the Epsilon Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority was established in the city of Cincinnati to promote community engagement through service, foster leadership development, support the education and empowerment of our youth.
