Join the Forest Park WeThrive team as they groove to tunes from the 70s and 80s at the 70s & 80s Get Down. This groovy event promises to be a night of non-stop dancing, fun, and nostalgia as we celebrate the timeless hits of these two iconic decades. Get your dancing shoes on because DJ Nate the Great is going to take you on a musical journey like no other!
The fun doesn’t stop at the dance floor! Enjoy a bit of friendly competition for the best costume and the best-decorated table.
Attendees can participate in the split-the-pot raffle. And if that’s not enough, guests could be the lucky winner of some fantastic door prizes.
So, mark your calendars and get ready to transport yourself to the golden eras of music. It’s a night of dancing, reminiscing, and celebrating the very best of the 70s and 80s, all while paying homage to 50 years of Hip Hop.

About the Forest Park Senior Center
The Forest Park Senior Center, located at 11555 Winton Road, is a multi-purpose facility that provides a warm and cozy atmosphere for hosting senior programs geared to residents 55+. The Forest Park Senior Center is handicap accessible and has plentiful parking available. The Senior Center is a lodge-style structure nestled in a wooded setting adjacent to Central Park, which has a playground, three basketball courts, and six tennis courts.
