Attend the 80th Incorporation Anniversary Celebration with the Village of Lincoln Heights September 5 through 7 and 12.
The Village of Lincoln Heights will commemorate its 80th Incorporation Anniversary with four days of celebration, reflection, entertainment and community fellowship on September 5–7 and September 12, 2026.
Under the theme “Rooted. Resilient. Rising.” and the message “Honoring Our Past. Building Our Future.”, the celebration will recognize the generations of residents who helped build Lincoln Heights while highlighting the Village’s continued investment in its people, neighborhoods and future.

Saturday, September 5
Community Celebration & Street Festival
- 10 a.m. — Community Parade
- Noon — Band Showcase & Drumline Battle
- 1 p.m. — Official Welcome & Opening Ceremony
- 9:15 p.m. — Fireworks & Sky Show
- 10 p.m. — Festival Finale
Lincoln Heights Days Street Festival featuring food vendors, local businesses, family activities, live entertainment, and community organizations
Sunday, September 6
Community & Family Day
- 10 a.m. – Interdenominational Worship Celebration
- Noon – Vendors Open
- 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Live Entertainment & Street Festival
Enjoy an afternoon and evening of music, performances, family activities, food vendors, local artisans, and community fellowship.
Monday, September 7
Homecoming & Heritage Celebration
Noon – 4 p.m.
Reconnect with friends, family, alumni, and former residents during the Homecoming Gathering featuring:
- Historical exhibits
