About Kenedy Heights Art Center
The Kennedy Heights Arts Center is housed in the former home of Lewis Kennedy. The historic, wood-frame building built in 1875 sits on 2.5 acres in the Kennedy Heights neighborhood of Cincinnati. When developers threatened to demolish the historic Kennedy Mansion, residents organized to save it, founding the Art Center in 2004.
The K.H.A.C. was founded to enhance the surrounding community and promote diversity through arts and cultural experiences. The Art Center has renovated the nearby community in nearly two decades of work by creating a nearby multi-use campus. The 10,300-square-foot satellite facility includes a multi-purpose performance and event venue, digital media lab, and artist studios.
