About Branford Marsalis

Branford Marsalis is an American saxophonist, composer, and bandleader. While primarily known for his work in jazz as the leader of the Branford Marsalis Quartet, he also performs frequently as a soloist with classical ensembles and has led the group Buckshot LeFonque. From 1992 to 1995 he led the Tonight Show Band. The NEA Jazz Master, Grammy Award winner, and Tony Award nominee is one of the most influential and revered figures in contemporary music.

About the Series

Launched in early 2017 by the Cincinnati Memorial Hall Society, the Longworth-Anderson Series (LAS) features Grammy Award-winning and other nationally recognized performers and bands at the beautiful, historic Memorial Hall.  This annual series showcases artists from a variety of contemporary music genres including alternative, Americana, bluegrass, blues, country, folk, gospel, hip hop, jazz, pop, R&B, reggae, rock, soul, and world music.

Parking   

The most convenient parking option is directly across the street at the Washington Park Garage. Use the Cincy EZ Park App to pay for parking as appropriate. Take Cincinnati METRO to the venue.    

Accessibility   

The basement, first and second floors of Memorial Hall are fully accessible. Use the patron elevator on the north side of the building, which may be entered on the street level.   

In addition, the Annie W. and Elizabeth M. Anderson Theater is equipped with several wheelchair/scooter-accessible seating locations. For additional information on accessible seating, please contact the Box Office at 513-977-8838
