About Stephen Marley
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Stephen began singing professionally at seven-years-old. He began singing with his elder siblings Ziggy, Sharon, and Cedella as The Melody Makers. The second son of Bob and Rita Marley, eight-time Grammy-winning musician and producer Stephen Marley began his career as a precocious six-year-old. His father provided production to his first single “Children Playing in The Streets” in 1979. Furthermore, shortly after, the song made its way onto Bob’s Tuff Gong label. While still a teenager, he was an assistant in the production of The Melody Makers’ albums. The albums became three Best Reggae Album Grammy winners “Conscious Party” (Virgin Records, 1989) “One Bright Day” (Virgin Records, 1990) and “Fallen Is Babylon” (Elektra Entertainment, 1998).

After that, Stephen made a vow to continue showcasing his talent for navigating between genres by effortlessly blending reggae with soul, hip-hop and electronic beats on his fourth solo album; “Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life” (2016). In addition, the album features songs with notable artists including; Rakim, Wyclef Jean, Pitbull, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and more.
