About the I Am Queen Program
The I Am Queen program was created in 2014 when the Youth coordinator of the Boys and Girls Club asked Ms. Ebony J to talk to her girls who would be graduating soon about self-esteem, decision making, and goal setting. The girls found the program to be helpful and loved her “Real Talk Approach.” Since then, the I Am Queen Program has been at churches and schools in the Midwest including Rothenberg Elementary, Bethel Baptist and Hughes Center.

About Ms. Ebony J

Ms. Ebony J is a phenomenal example for dreamers that all things are possible with God, dedication, and consistency. Media personality, entrepreneur, host, philanthropist, blogger, life coach, motivational speaker, and teacher, she is truly “the Host that does the most”. Standing at 4’11, you would think it would be easy to overlook her small stature, but once she opens her mouth she demands attention and respect. Ebony J graduated from Hughes Center Communication program in 2008. During high school, she interned with WCPO, Scripps Howard Program, and Radio One Cincinnati. Her determination was and still is endless. Shortly after graduation, she landed a position in the programming department as the producer for “At Work Network” at her dream station WIZF (101.1 the Wiz).

Through hard work and dedication, she was able to work her way into an on-air talent position. Ebony J served as a local producer for top radio programs such as The Doll House with Paigion (from 106 and park), The Russ Parr Morning Show, Tom Joyner Morning Show and The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. Ebony J is now an on-air talent at R&B Cincy 100.3 Friday 7-9pm and Sunday 3-7pm. She also hosts Community Conversations which airs on 4 stations every Sunday morning. Ms. Ebony has a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media Broadcasting and minor in Communications from Northern Kentucky University.
