13th Annual Mayor’s Career Expo
March 8 - March 9
Duke Energy Convention CenterFREE
Mark your calendars for the 13th Cincinnati Annual Mayor’s Career Expo!
The Mayor’s Career Expo works in conjunction with Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s Youth to Work (Y2WK) collaborative and Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS). This event is designed to bring together local employers and approximately 300 high school seniors, recent graduates, and college students from local high schools, colleges and universities. The event will give employers access to qualified students and recent graduates seeking seasonal and long-term employment opportunities.
This event is FREE and open to the public. The expo is looking to hire 14-24-year-olds for seasonal, part-time and full-time work. This event will include workshops of career paths and skills and breakout sessions to meet with different vendors.
Friday, March 8: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Saturday, March 9: – 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The purpose of the Mayor’s Career Expo is to share your organization’s information about career and internship opportunities for local high school students, college students and graduates and to interview students for open positions. Because of the variety of student interests, we encourage employers to maximize their recruiting efforts by offering information on many job opportunities, not just the most obvious ones.
Partners of the Expo include:
– Better Business Bureau
– Cincinnati Police Department
– Cincinnati Public Schools
– Cincinnati Recreation Commission
– City of Cincinnati
– First Financial Bancorp
Companies interested in employing youths to the Youth 2 Work Program should act now. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. You can register for this event by contacting Greg Walker at 513-704-5620 or email@example.com to reserve a booth. He looks forward to hosting this event and hopes that all supporting companies will join him.
