Experience an evening of twists, jumps and twirls when these dancers take the stage

Women’s Alliance Inc. is set to present an explosive evening where contemporary dance meets ballet at A Gathering of the Arts. This powerful showcase of music and dance will feature performances from Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) and Salome Tregre of Cincinnati Ballet’s Nutcracker. Let’s celebrate Cincinnati arts!

Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 513-977-8838 or visiting the box office. VIP tickets include a reception before the performance beginning at 5 p.m. The show starts at 6 p.m.
– $30 Balcony
– $50 Orchestra
– $100 VIP. The VIP reception begins at 5:00 p.m.

Find parking right across the street at Washington Park Garage. There is also Mercer Commons Garage on Vine Street or meter parking.

Proceeds from the Cincinnati arts event will support college scholarships given annually by Women’s Alliance. Every year, the Women’s Alliance awards four-year college scholarships of $2,000 each. Awards also include stipends for books and other college expenses.

Women’s Alliance Inc.

Women’s Alliance, Inc. is celebrating more than 50 years of service to Cincinnati. Since 1966, the small organization of women has given more than $10,000 in scholarships, annually, to deserving high school seniors. Its goal is to expand the cultural, educational and financial horizons of Cincinnati’s youth and to help instill pride in their lives. Visit Women’s Alliance Inc. 

Dayton Contemporary Dance Company

Since 1968, the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) has given performance opportunities for dancers of color. Nearly 50 years later, its roots remain in the African American experience. Its commitment is to the development of diverse movement artists on the global stage.

Salome Tregre

Salome Tregre was the first African American to dance the lead role of Clara in the Cincinnati Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. Rising opera singer Desiree Dawson also will perform, as well as the Clark Montessori High School Jazz Band. Also, guests will view an exhibition of artwork from artists, Jimi Jones and Donald Sowell.
