34th Annual Black Family Reunion celebration is August 18-21, 2022

The 2022 Cincinnati Black Family Reunion is a four-day celebration of consumers, corporations, and communities focusing on the historic strengths and values of the Black Family.
Raheem DeVaughn will perform on August 20 at 6 p.m. at the Sawyer Point Main Stage.
The Clark Sisters will perform on August 21 at 6 p.m. at the Sawyer Point Main Stage.
Founded by Dr. Dorothy I. Height, President Emerita of the National Council of Negro Women, and held in major cities across the United States, Cincinnati is the only city that continues this tradition of honoring Black families.
This, the 34th Annual Cincinnati Black Family Reunion Celebration, features a weekend full of free family-focused events, including a job fair, a parade, concerts, and the opportunity to support local Black-owned businesses. Pavilions offered for park attendees include:
- Health Pavilion
- Children’s Pavilion – presented by AKA sorority
- Spirituality Pavilion
- Youth and Young Adult Pavilions
- Seniors Pavilion – presented by NCNW
- Jazz Alley – presented by I HEAR MUSIC INC.
- Games Pavilion
- Family Feud
- Winner of the Family Reunion Pavilion
- Sports Pavilion – presented by CRC
The 2022 Cincinnati Black Family Reunion begins on Thursday, August 18, and runs through Sunday, August 21. Black history and African American cultural celebrations will be held throughout the four-day weekend. Locations include Fountain Square, Corinthian Baptist Church, Avondale, and Sawyer Point.

About the Black Family Reunion
The Black Family Reunion, one of Cincinnati’s largest family-focused celebrations, was inaugurated in 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is held on the third weekend of August annually. The celebration of the historic strengths and values of the Black Family draws around 10,000 patrons.
Conceived by Dr. Dorothy I. Height, President Emerita of the National Council of Negro Women, the Black Family Reunion Celebration is a four-day cultural event that ensures the historic morals of the Black family are showcased.
