Are you ready for the Cincinnati Black Nativity Musical? The musical tells an illustrious story filled with joyfulness as it expresses one of the Bible’s most prevailing narratives. “Black Nativity” articulates not only the story of Jesus’ birth, but also the splendiferous sound of Gospel music with African-American flavor.

About Black Nativity
“Black Nativity” originated in 1961 and was performed Off-Broadway by Langston Hughes. The modified celebration of the birth of Jesus exhibits more than just another Christmas production.

 

The production commemorates how many celebrate the amazing story Jesus being born of the Virgin Mary both nationally and internationally. “Black Nativity” is a recurring favorite and CBTC is proud to feature a new exhilarating and diverse show each and every year. Also, it is filled with exhilarating sounds of music, praise and worship, song and dance, energy, costuming, and prophetic storytelling.
