Young people will be able to explore science during Discovery Day
Learn about research during fall Discovery Day on Sept. 26
Calling all future scientists and health specialists! Cincinnati Children’s invites students in grades 7 to 12 to explore science and research at the fall Discovery Day on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
The event will begin with lunch, followed by hands-on demonstrations and tours of a working lab at our Burnet Campus. Participants will also learn about various healthcare careers as they meet with Cincinnati Children’s healthcare providers and researchers.
“Discovery Day is a great way to let young people know about the many career opportunities available in healthcare and hospital settings,” said Monica Mitchell, PhD, a pediatric psychologist who is Cincinnati Children’s assistant vice president for Community Relations. “We hope that by meeting health professionals and scientists, young people will be inspired to pursue careers in science, technology and medicine.”
When: Saturday, Sept. 26, 11 am-3 pm (Check-in opens at 10:30 am).

Families and youths may register by Sept. 18.
