Enjoy free family-friendly activities and get your shopping done early at the Cincinnati Halle-Bration celebration
Mark your calendars and make plans to take the entire family to the 2019 Cincinnati Halle-Bration Celebration and holiday market. Families will enjoy 60 vendors, unique gifts, entertainment, food, free toys, Santa Claus, a Community Business Showcase, jazz social hour and more. No pre-registration is required.
Friday, December 13 – 4-8 p.m.
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m – Jazz Social Hour featuring Jazz Saxophonist Ed “SAX” Thomas and The Muzic Company on the main stage, finger foods, delicious non-alcoholic “mocktails,” fun and fellowship.
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. – Mercy Health will present a “ManUP Men’s Prostate Health” session and the Center for Closing the Health Gap will present a “Black Women’s Health” workshop.
Saturday, December 14 – 10 a.m – 4 p.m.
- Shop for uniques with over 60 vendor booths on two floors, enjoy great food concessions
- Entertainment from by several acts, children’s crafts and activities, a visit from Santa Claus, free toys for the first 200 children who attend and a Community Business Showcase, highlighting African American owned service businesses.
More than 1,500 people are expected to attend, so arrive early. It’s an event like no other in the city. Edibles and Such will provide scrumptious food concessions. The vendors will display their wares for sale, including: “Imagination Dolls,” handcrafted Black dolls by Debbie Hillson, inspirational books and bibles, women’s and men’s fashions and custom jewelry. Also, be sure to indulge in baked delights like carrot cakes, pound cakes and New York-style cheesecake from various vendors in the “Taste of Halle-Bration” section.

The purpose of the annual event is to provide a free family-friendly community event celebrating Christmas, Kwanzaa and the New Year’s holiday season. Also, it showcases a variety of Greater Cincinnati African American owned businesses in the Community Business Showcase.
