Looking for Cincinnati jazz music? How about a special tribute for “Cowboy Bebop”?
On Sept. 29, Her Royal Airship Ashanti and the Midwest Black Speculative Fiction Alliance (MBFSA) will be celebrating 20 years of the beloved anime TV series “Cowboy Bebop” with a special jazz tribute concert! Don’t miss this live Cincinnati jazz music.
“3-2-1 Let’s Jam” features experienced jazz players from the Greater Cincinnati area. Let these intoxicating jazz tunes take you on a wild ride through the stars that will have you plotting a course to catch your next bounty!
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online. Tickets at the door are $35. The concert takes place at Withrow High School. Doors open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 6:30 pm.
Cincinnati trumpet player Mike Wade will be the Cowboy Bebop big band leader! Other performers include:

First airing in 1998, “Cowboy Bebop” is an award-winning show that is not only credited with introducing anime to a new wave of Western viewers, but is recognized as a gateway series for the popular medium as a whole. Our concert “3-2-1 Let’s Jam! A Philanthropic Jazz Tribute to Cowboy Bebop” pays homage to this amazing show as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
All concert proceeds will be donated to Melodic Connections, a Cincinnati-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that offers music therapy lessons to individuals with special needs. To learn more about and to get involved with Melodic Connections, visit MelodicConnections.org.
