Celebrate Cincinnati’s rich music history with the return of the hit musical about King Records. Based on extensive interviews, the story traces the groundbreaking rise of music pioneer Syd Nathan, the artists he produced, the music he created, and the enemies he made along the way. The show chronicles the behind-the-scenes drama of many King Records hits, including “The Twist,” “Blues Stay Away From Me,” “Fever” and “Need Your Love So Bad.” Cincinnati King shines the spotlight on this revolutionary music label and its Queen City roots.

Playhouse in the Park Venue Details
Parking
Convenient parking is available in the Playhouse garage and can be purchased in advance by calling the Box Office at 513-421-3888 or as an add-on when you purchase tickets online. This is strongly recommended as parking may be sold out on the day of the show, and parking space is extremely limited in Mt. Adams. Advanced garage parking costs $15, except in December when it is $20. Drive-up garage parking is $20 (if available).
If you prefer to find free parking on surrounding streets, please allow plenty of extra time. Very limited free parking is available (where marked) on streets surrounding the Playhouse. Eden Park officially closes at 10 p.m. As a grace period to the Playhouse and its patrons, the police will not ticket vehicles until one half-hour following the end of a performance.
