Looking back. Moving forward. Join Cincinnati Women’s Choir as they celebrate 35 years.

Celebrate 35 years of musical excellence and social justice activism with MUSE, Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir. Under the leadership of new music director Jillian Harrison-Jones, MUSE presents commissions and arrangements from the past 35 years, an Enduring Spirit Award presentation honoring the late Maureen Wood, and the premier of a new commission created by and performed with Siri Imani, local poet and activist from TRIIIBE, inspired by the hashtag movement #IfIDieInPoliceCustody.

The shows begin at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The doors will open an hour before each performance for a pre-concert reception hour. You can enjoy a cash bar, light bites, artwork, and raffles. Tickets are $10 – $20 and can be purchased online. MUSE is proud to offer free childcare with advanced reservations. To make a reservation, please email muse@musechoir.org

About MUSE

MUSE is an inclusive and feminist choral community advocating for peace and social justice. We unite our voices to raise awareness and inspire change in ourselves, our audiences, and our world through partnerships that honor the humanity and enduring spirit of all people. We advocate for women’s rights on the grounds of political, social and economic equality. We commission and seek out music composed by women and pieces written to enhance the sound of women’s voices. We educate and empower ourselves and audiences by celebrating women’s strengths and elevating our struggles.

35th Annual Spring Concert

MUSE will feature alumni group CLIO, Cincinnati Men’s Chorus, and MUSE Kids on stage at Memorial Hall. Plus, art installation of 11 portraits of women of color who were all murdered by police or police-related activity by Columbus-based artist Aimee Wissman.

Mark your calendars for this impactful and entertaining spring concert with MUSE Cincinnati Women’s Choir!
