About Future History Now
In 2016, Future History Now was created to showcase and celebrate Black History Month by highlighting our community’s efforts to be more diverse and inclusive with a conversation to share knowledge, resources and new opportunities for minorities. Instead of using these important calendar designations as a time to only celebrate the accomplishments of the past – we believe it’s an excellent opportunity to strategize on how to become the history makers of the future, starting NOW. In previous years, Future History Now was a one-evening event including a happy hour, networking event and panel discussions. As we’ve grown, The expanded schedule is designed to further establish Cincinnati as a hub for minority & women entrepreneurs.
“I am an example of what is possible when girls from the very beginning of their lives are loved and nurtured by people around them. I was surrounded by extraordinary women in my life who taught me about quiet strength and dignity.” – Michelle Obama.
