Celebrate Women’s History Month with the for Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir!

 

In celebration of Women’s History month, differing communities are gathering in song in Lower Price Hill. MUSE, Cincinnati’s Women’s Choir, in collaboration with the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus, will perform at The Sanctuary in Lower Price Hill on March 23rd at 3:00 p.m. This is located on the campus of Community Matters.

 

In addition to powerful music, Community Matters and Over-the-Rhine Community Housing will present information on their collaboration project, LPH Thrives! There will be opportunities to engage with each organization, including ticket deals for upcoming concerts. This concert is FREE to everyone who lives in Lower Price Hill and is just a suggested donation of $10 for those coming from outside of the neighborhood. All proceeds go to Community Matters, Over-the-Rhine Community Housing, MUSE, and Indianapolis Women’s Chorus to help support their continued work in building strong and supportive communities. Come celebrate the diversity living within our community and these organizations.

 

Donations will be accepted through the link below before March 23rd as well as at the event.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. All seating is general admission. This event is FREE but donations are accepted. 

This concert will be interpreted in ASL for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

 

Over-the-Rhine Community Housing is thrilled to have the opportunity to play a role in transforming Lower Price Hill alongside long-time community organization, Community Matters. The partnership will achieve affordable housing goals set by residents of Lower Price Hill. OTRCH will bring affordable housing development expertise and community-based management model to Lower Price Hill through this collaboration project, LPH Thrives, which will renovate 56 units of new affordable housing in the neighborhood.

 

MUSE is an inclusive and feminist choral community advocating for peace and social justice. We unite our voices to raise awareness and inspire change in ourselves, our audiences, and our world through partnerships that honor the humanity and enduring spirit of all people.
