The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of All of Us or None is hosting DIVE N – Directly Impacted Voter Engagement National on October 3, 2020, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. virtually. The event is lead by Directly and Indirectly Impacted Leaders within the criminal legal system in the Cincinnati area. The topics include voter education and breakouts on pretrial, the state of OH prisons, and reentry.

In Ohio, people with felony records are able to vote but have often been misinformed. This event will discuss that issue as well as related topics. The breakout groups will have formerly incarcerated individuals along with local leaders and candidates who are open to discussing the issues. It will be moderated by local All of Us or None members. This event is followed by a voter registration popup in collaboration with Operation Change Cincy. This is open to all but targeted for those impacted by the criminal legal system.

All of Us or None is a grassroots civil and human rights organization fighting for the rights of formerly-and currently-incarcerated people and our families. We are fighting against the discrimination that people face every day because of arrest or conviction history. The goal of All of Us or None is to strengthen the voices of people most affected by mass incarceration and the growth of the prison-industrial complex. Through our grassroots organizing, we are building a powerful political movement to win full restoration of our human and civil rights

The local chapter was established in 2019 and led by Dr. Zaria Davis, Michael Mitchell, and Chazidy Bowman. Locally they have been engaged in voter education, drop the charges campaign and other advocacy events that are aligned with the mission and vision of AoUoN.

The chapter can be reached at cincyaouon@gmail.com or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/412102213009669/?ref=share
The chapter is looking to grow its membership.
