The Eureka Day School in Berkeley, California, is the kind of place that prides itself on welcoming everyone — a progressive, consensus-driven community where no one gets left behind, and every voice matters. So when a mumps outbreak hits the student body, the school’s Executive Committee faces a crisis that their carefully crafted culture was never designed to handle: they actually have to make a choice.
What follows is a wildly funny, razor-sharp comedy that holds a mirror up to our fractured moment — from the paralysis of groupthink to the chaos of online discourse — and asks whether a community built on the dream of endless agreement can survive a problem that demands a real answer.
Jonathan Spector’s Eureka Day made its Broadway debut at Manhattan Theatre Club and has earned raves as one of the sharpest, most timely comedies of its generation.

Founded in 1989 by Dave Radtke and Ted Weil, Falcon Theatre began as an aspiration to expand the theatrical opportunities in the Greater Cincinnati area. Since that time, Falcon has built on its founding mission by providing eclectic, diverse theatre experiences to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Falcon Theatre has created a tradition of exceptional theater and is an intrinsic part of the flourishing Greater Cincinnati Theater community.
