The Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly presents a FREE finance class for adults.

There are so many scammers out there trying to get rich quick and they prey on senior citizens to do it. Please gather your friends and family members that are wise in years to join this seminar to prevent from being a victim of these shameless predators. This FREE finance class for adults has been designed by the FDIC to provide seniors with information and useful tips to help prevent common frauds, scams, and other types of elder financial exploitation. Most importantly, attendees will discover ways to keep their information safe and secure through advanced planning.

Attendance to the seminar is FREE but registration is respectfully requested so that adequate light refreshments are available. Attendees are requested to arrive by 9:45 am so they can get situated and the seminar can begin in a timely fashion.

To register, call 513-813-6880. If no one answers, please leave a message indicating the name of each person who intends to join the seminar. Alternatively, please feel free to send an email to cqcadsted@gmail.com and provide the name of each person who intends to join the seminar.

Attendees will be given a resource guide to take home with them that will include the information that will be discussed during the seminar. A number of sorority members, who are part of the organization’s Economic Development Committee, will deliver the presentation and they promise to keep it lively. It is expected that these topics will spur a vast amount of questions and a rich conversation that are certain to be pertinent and useful to each and every one of those in attendance as we talk about the scams that each of us encounters on a daily basis.

Please look forward to learning from one another and walking away empowered to combat these scammers.
