Mike Epps is a stand-up comedian, actor, film producer, writer, and rapper. He is best known for playing Day-Day Jones in Next Friday and its sequel, Friday After Next, and played alongside Martin Lawrence in Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. He produced and starred in his own movie Meet The Blacks back in 2016. Since then he doing comedy tours and acting in various movies.
Rickey Smiley, an esteemed and honored member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, is the host of the nationally syndicated radio program, “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show”. With the distinct ability to take everyday observations and turn them into comedic gold, Rickey is one of the few “clean” comics amongst the upper echelon of contemporary comedians. At any given performance, audiences are treated to such original characters as Bernice Jenkins, Lil’ Daryl, Joe Willie and Beauford. In addition, his comedy shows often include a live band, which he often accompanies (he is an accomplished pianist and organist). He is known for having made millions laugh for over 27 years.
Sommore reigns as the undisputed “Queen of Comedy.” While stand-up comedy is her thing, Sommore includes several appearances on the sitcoms “The Hughleys” and “The Parkers,” HBO’s “SNAPS” and MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out.” Sommore also participated in season six of VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club”, Comedy Central’s “Roast of Flavor Flav,” and was a regular on NBC’s game show “1 vs. 100” during the 2008 season. In 2010, Sommore was invited to participate in Chicago’s “Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” as a featured act on the “Cedric the Entertainer’s Urban Circus” which aired on TBS. There she performed alongside the likes of other comedic greats such as Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer.
DC Young Fly
New to comedy but definitely not one to pass up, DC Young Fly credits include BET’s The New Edition Story and Will Packer’s Almost Christmas, in which he plays ‘Eric’ alongside Mo’Nique, J.B. Smoove, and Gabrielle Union. DC also recently played ‘Jaymo’ in Jerrod Carmichael’s new multi-cam comedy series for FOX, REL. He can next be seen in the Lionsgate Feature Film, Two Minutes of Fame, Nick Cannon’s She Ball, and Master P’s upcoming Independent Feature, I Got The Hook Up Part 2. You can also catch him weekly on Nick Cannon’s Wild’n’Out.
Comedian, Lavell Crawford is quickly climbing the comedic ranks and becoming one of the hottest stars in the biz today. He filmed a new one-hour special in his home town of St. Louis, “Can A Brother Get Some Love?,” and is on DVD from Entertainment One. In addition, he filmed an episode of “Workaholics” for Comedy Central and he’s been cast in a recurring role on the AMC’s Emmy Award-winning “Breaking Bad.” If that’s not enough, he was also seen as a regular panelist on E! Entertainment’s “Chelsea Lately” and a regular on “Lopez Tonight,” performing in various comedy sketches on the show. From his numerous television appearances and as one of the hottest touring acts in the country, audiences are becoming increasingly familiar with Lavell’s giant-sized talent.
