Join community members, healthcare providers, and trusted organizations for the annual Health Expo, a free Cincinnati community health event hosted by the Center for Closing the Health Gap. Designed to improve access to health care, preventive care, and wellness education, this outdoor expo connects individuals and families with essential resources to support long-term health and well-being.
Held at Washington Park in downtown Cincinnati, the Health Expo offers vital free health screenings, education, and community services in an accessible, welcoming setting.

Featured Installations
- IMEC Athlete Combine: A full athletic experience including warm-ups, drills, screenings, and strength training. Encourages physical fitness, reduces preventable sports injuries, and promotes early health screenings. Participants will learn proper stretching, hydration, body mechanics, nutrition for athletes, and injury-prevention techniques.
- Mind Over Masterpiece: A guided art therapy session promoting mental clarity and emotional well-being through creativity. Supports community mental health and stress reduction using creative therapeutic expression. Participants will learn stress-relief techniques, emotional expression tools, grounding exercises, and the role of creativity in healing.
- Dance Dance Dance: A movement-based activation teaching confidence, strength, posture, and body awareness for girls. Empowers young women to build healthy body image, physical strength, and emotional resilience. Participants will learn stretching routines, balance techniques, bone-strengthening exercises, and confidence-building movement practices.
- Stronger Than Your Limits: Adaptive wellness for individuals with mobility, injury, or medical limitations. Boosts independence by offering safe physical activity alternatives and emotional encouragement. Participants will learn modified exercises, mobility techniques, strength-building for limited range, and wellness confidence skills.
- Fuel for the Soul: A full-day cooking demo activation teaching healthy eating and budget-friendly nutrition. Encourages families to adopt healthy eating habits by showing accessible, affordable recipes. Participants will learn low-salt cooking, seasoning alternatives, balanced meal planning, and healthy food swaps.
- Plot to Purpose: A community marketplace where families ‘shop with purpose’ and organizations donate fresh produce. Strengthens community bonds and expands access to fresh food in underserved neighborhoods. Participants will learn about fresh produce selection, nutrition basics, healthy cooking approaches, and community resource connections.
