HipART: Rites of Passage Cincinnati Concert is a series of public concerts and events presenting art and artists from Cincinnati’s own Hip Hop community.
Your voice and your actions can move a crowd, uplift a soul, and cause change. Every human possesses these qualities. So scream, stomp, dance, or whisper but never limit yourself because you are powerful. This is THRIVE Cincinnati! Come out and experience HipART: Rites of Passage Cincinnati Concerts.
Advanced tickets are $5 with discount code HIPHOP50 and can be purchased online. Entry will be $10 at the door on the day of the event. or you can get tickets at the door the day of the event for $10.
Performing artists include Noah Hawes, Spirit, DJ Apryl Reign, Stallitix, Jamie-Lee Morris, Image of Dance, (CA)^2, Nitty Morris, Heroes Rise Street Dance Experience and Elementz Creative Director Abdullah Powell.
Elementz is an urban oasis of hope and catalyst for change for Cincinnati’s inner-city youth located in Over-the-Rhine. Our partner, ArtsWave, is the lead planner, promoter and fundraiser of the arts through donations from tens of thousands of individuals and companies.

Because of these efforts, Elementz is excited to announce news of a series of public concerts and events presenting local art and artists from Cincinnati’s own hip hop community. With the overall theme of “Thrive”, we hope to inspire and captivate Cincinnati in a series of cultural events that include: Three Hip Hop-inspired performances that are to be held at the Woodward Theater.
These concerts will feature top performing conscious hip hop and spoken word artists drawn from Elementz and the local hip hop community. Thrive will also feature the area high school poet finalists in the annual Spoken Word competition, “Louder Than A Bomb.”
For our first concert, Hip Art, we’re showcasing our internal artists that have grown and truly developed their craft over the years. You’ll expect to hear captivating lyricism and witness alluring hip hop dance. So come join us Thursday, September 19th at 8 p.m.
