Homeownership & Wealth Building Fair

OwnCincy hosts 3rd Annual Homeownership & Wealth Building Fair June 27 at Cintas Center

June is Homeownership Month, and OwnCincy is marking it by hosting its 3rd Annual Homeownership & Wealth Building Fair on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Xavier University’s Cintas Center, 1624 Herald Avenue.

Pathways to homeownership are within reach. Cincinnati’s premier homeownership and wealth‑building program brings lenders, housing experts, attorneys, financial professionals, and community organizations together under one roof — equipping families with practical tools, trusted resources, and clear guidance to move forward with confidence.

Something meaningful awaits participants at every stage. Whether the journey toward homeownership is just beginning or a home has been owned for decades, this program is designed to meet people where they are. From grandparents to grandchildren, every generation can discover new opportunities to build upon — because wealth building isn’t a single moment, but an ongoing journey that shapes entire families.

OwnCincy exists to serve individuals and families who have historically been shut out of homeownership through redlining, discrimination, and systemic barriers. Homeownership is one of the most powerful ways to build lasting wealth and break the cycle of generational poverty — and this fair is built to help people make it happen.

Admission to the Homeownership & Wealth Building Fair

Admission is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

What to Expect

Workshops and Sessions

Hands-on workshops and expert-led sessions cover the full homeownership and wealth journey, including:

  • Homebuying — from pre-approval to closing
  • Home Repair — protecting and improving your investment
  • Grants — down payment and assistance programs
  • Credit Repair — strengthening your financial foundation
  • Wealth Building — turning ownership into generational wealth
  • Estate Planning — protecting and passing on what you build

Walk Away With…

  • First Time Homebuyer Education
  • Homebuyer Grant Opportunities
  • Critical Repair Grants and Low-Interest Loans
  • Free Lead Abatement Opportunities
  • Wealth Building Education and Resources

Youth & Family

Dedicated youth programming for young people ages 11–15 introduces the next generation to saving, money management, and the building blocks of ownership — because building wealth starts early.

Childcare will be available on-site, through a local licensed agency at no cost for those ages 1-12 years of age. Registration is required.

Vendors & Resources

A full vendor hall connects attendees directly with the people who make homeownership and home repair possible — carpenters, electricians, roofers, plumbers, and other trades who can assist with household repairs, alongside lenders, legal and planning services, housing counselors, and community resource providers ready to answer questions and open doors on the spot.
