About Jarrod Lawson
Jarrod Lawson is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and keyboardist whose sophisticated blend of soul, jazz, and R&B has earned international acclaim. In late 2022, his career reached a new milestone when Michelle Obama publicly named him as an artist she was listening to, calling him “this young jazz, blue-eyed soul kid.” At the time, Lawson was receiving major airplay in the U.S. and Europe for his reinterpretation of the Isley Brothers’ “Footsteps in the Dark,” following his acclaimed album Be The Change, which debuted at #1 on Amazon’s Jazz Albums chart and #2 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Albums chart.
Although his initial breakthrough came in Europe with his 2014 self-titled debut, Lawson’s audience has since grown worldwide. He has performed at major festivals and venues, including North Sea Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s Club, Java Jazz, and leading jazz rooms across the United States, as well as touring extensively in Asia and Australia. His music is known for its layered harmonies, jazz-fusion arrangements, and emotional depth, drawing frequent comparisons to Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway.
In 2024, Lawson released “Next Move,” a retro-soul collaboration with rising Los Angeles vocalist Raquel Rodriguez, marking a new chapter as he works toward his third album. Rooted in classic soul but shaped by jazz sophistication and modern sensibility, Jarrod Lawson continues to build a global reputation as one of contemporary soul and jazz’s most distinctive voices.

Bag Policy
All guests are subject to a bag inspection. Small clutch bags are allowed if they are no larger than 6″ X 9″ and do not need to be clear. Clear bags are permitted if they are no larger than 12″ X 12″ X 6″.
