Attend the Juneteenth Community Check-In at CFCWC Club House on June 19.
The Juneteenth Community Check-In, presented by the Cincinnati Federation of Colored Women’s Clubs and JMLB Services, LLC, is a special event dedicated to engaging the community while honoring and celebrating the rich history, culture, achievements, and lasting contributions of the Black community throughout the Cincinnati Tri-State area. This gathering provides an opportunity for residents, families, community leaders, and local organizations to come together in a spirit of unity, appreciation, and empowerment.
The Juneteenth Community Check-In will feature a variety of local vendors showcasing products, services, crafts, and resources that support economic growth and entrepreneurship within the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop, network, and learn more about businesses and organizations that are making a positive impact throughout the region.
In addition to vendors, the celebration will include exciting live performances that highlight the creativity, talent, and cultural expression found within the Black community. Music, entertainment, and artistic presentations will provide an engaging atmosphere for guests of all ages while honoring traditions and inspiring future generations.
A key component of the event is its focus on health and wellness. Community partners and resource providers will be on-site to offer valuable information, services, and educational materials designed to promote healthier lifestyles and improve overall well-being. These resources will help connect attendees with programs and support systems available throughout the Cincinnati Tri-State area.
Returning by popular demand, SCTT & WAR Theatre will once again provide live performances, bringing energy, inspiration, and cultural enrichment to this year’s celebration. Their participation adds a dynamic element that attendees enjoyed during the inaugural event and look forward to experiencing again.
Building on the success of its first year, this second annual celebration continues its mission of fostering community engagement, recognizing Black excellence, promoting health and wellness, supporting local businesses, and creating meaningful opportunities for connection, education, and cultural appreciation throughout the Cincinnati Tri-State region.
