The Kiwanis Cares for Kids Family Health and Safety Fair invites families to enjoy a lively afternoon focused on wellness, community, and fun. Taking place on May 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kemper Heights, the event features live music and engaging activities designed for children of all ages. Rain or shine, the celebration continues, creating a welcoming space for neighbors, friends, and families to connect.
Guests can explore a wide range of vendors and community resources offering helpful information and hands‑on experiences. Children will have the chance to receive one of the 50 free helmets available, along with opportunities to enter raffles for kids’ bikes. With activities that blend learning and play, the fair encourages families to discover new ways to stay healthy and safe together.
Local heroes from the Forest Park Fire and Police Departments will also be on-site to meet families and share valuable safety insights. Their presence adds an exciting and educational element, giving kids a chance to interact with first responders in a friendly environment. With so much to see and do, the event promises a meaningful and memorable afternoon for the entire community.
